WHAT ARE HOT TOPICS?
A hot topic is a situation that has recently occurred or is about to become an issue in the social realm, often dictated by the press.
During the week of the first edition of our RaceTalk America Coursebook Manual release, George Floyd was killed by Derek Chauvin (2020), a devastating news event that captured public attention and spurred debate for several months.
In our November 2022 coverage, we shifted our focus towards a nation’s “spiritual growth” and the global response rather than delving into police conduct and the justice system.
Similarly, we would discuss Will Smith’s altercation with comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars on March 27th, 2022, at the Dolby Theater, analyzing what constitutes a righteous comedic response to any person, place, or thing. This, too, was a hot topic that lasted a few months in the press.
TOPIC: WHITE SUPREMACY
Every topic, such as WHITE SUPREMACY, can become a hot topic for discussion, and the narratives are endless.
During the first presidential debate on September 29, 2020, President Donald Trump was asked to condemn white supremacist groups.
He responded, “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by.”
This remark was widely interpreted as a failure to denounce the group. Later, Trump clarified that he did not know who the Proud Boys were and urged them to “stand down and let law enforcement do their work.”
The group’s former top leader, Enrique Tarrio, and three of his lieutenants were convicted of seditious conspiracy for a violent plot to stop the peaceful transfer of presidential power from Trump to Biden after the 2020 election. Tarrio was serving a 22-year prison sentence, the longest of any Capitol riot case, before Trump pardoned him on January 21st, 2025 the first day after his inauguration. Some members of the group marched in Washington on Monday as Trump was sworn into another term.
When pressed by a reporter about the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers and whether there was a place for them in politics, Trump said, “Well, we have to see. They’ve been given a pardon. I thought their sentences were ridiculous and excessive.”
It’s essential to understand that the opinions expressed in our discussions are intended to guide facilitators in reflecting upon the community’s “universal consciousness” and determining the appropriate resolution rather than pursuing legal remedies that favor one individual or group over another.
Within this framework, you will encounter various commentators and pundits sharing their perspectives. However, the most critical aspect lies in how you arrive at your own truth, how your choices resonate with you, and what “right action” you would contemplate should you find yourself in similar situations.
COLORISM I & II
Colorism is a critical issue in certain ethnic groups. These discussions will require additional training for all facilitators.
CRITICAL RACE THEORY
The Uncle Nearest is a pretty good example why stories like his should be taught from grades 6 and up. This former slave taught Jack Daniels how to distill whiskcy.
HEART MATH COHERENCE
An individual who has compassionate for all others, willing to challenge injustices and confronts bigotry, racial and social inequities understand the essential method of mindful communication and sensitivity. The Heart Math program is similar in that Heart Math helps you tap into the power and intelligence of your heart – your heart’s intuition – which awakens you to the best version of yourself.
mindfulness

DAVE CHAPPELLE III
Why do some comedians educate while they entertain while others are befiddled throughout their performance. We have other topics on Dave Chappelle, perhaps the greatest of them all.
mindful communication
ALL OPINION MATTERS
Our program is designed where all opinions matter. Everyone has the right and priviledge to speak, share ideas and express their opinions. Opinions are never right or wrong.
