About Us
Race Talk™ America is a comprehensive training program that focuses on mindful communication and sensitivity and is a better method for unplugging issues of bigotry, implicit bias, diversity, racial equity, racism, and social equity. The participants in these Zoom sessions, seminars, workshops, and conferences must be willing to GROW. EVOLVE. CHANGE.
CORE PHILOSOPHY
Teaching tolerance is a poor structure for managing human emotions.
An integrative modality is a process of taking features from other social and psychological paradigms and developing a new innovative approach to identifying and solving issues that are current in society.
Teaching Tolerance (opinion) is painstakingly a farce on several levels. We do provide you with some of their materials (SPLC) in our coursework as facilitators to the extent that it is licensed, copyrighted, and accessible.
The Diversity Certification program is structured to help teach tolerance (not entirely) as a method for addressing racism, social injustices, etc…
We can all agree that racism, bigotry, prejudices, and discrimination emerge as “supremacist ideologies” in the home.
Primary education should include anti-racism and hatred as early as pre-k to 8th grade and beyond.
While the scope of the method of this training (Diversity Certification, Racial Equity Seminars, and Implicit Bias Workshops) are better than nothing, the cost is high and does not provide a critical training protocol needed for everyone today in the workplace due to cost and other external factors.
Race Talk concepts and methodologies include an array of course material that is fluid and changes depending on the audience and issues at the forefront of the community that continue to confront us on a daily basis.
The method of discussing our course materials and the audience sharing their day-to-day experiences on issues facing race, diversity, culture, problems of ethnicity, and nationality is an exchange that shines a light on conflicts in everyday living.
Any discussion proves critical towards the individual becoming a part of a change in their community or workplace. Race Talk also incorporates an element of spirituality, universal law, and principles of ethics for everyday living. The term ‘everyday living’ is used a lot here because I believe that a 2–3-day workshop will never satisfy any method of eradicating racism, bigotry, prejudice, discriminatory practices…
While our method will not be a complete solution for every organization, it will be helpful and move individuals closer to having more compassion, teaching them how to communicate better with others, and finally, a real desire for understanding the roots of bigotry, discrimination, hatred, and other social concepts.
